Frequently Asked Questions

What you pay for, what costs nothing, and how cancellations and refunds work

Exporting is paid. Converting and previewing are open to everyone; the export is the file you actually hand over, and charging for it is what pays for keeping the tab reader and rhythm estimation accurate. Paid exports open soon, at $4.9 for one song, $9.9 for a pack of 10 songs, and $7.9 a month or $79 a year for Pro with unlimited exports. Before you pay anything, you can paste your tab, see the notation on screen, play it back and fix the rhythm, with no account and no card. Sign up and your first export is free. If you would rather not pay at all, MuseScore is free, but you have to enter every note into it yourself, which usually takes an hour or more for one song.

The single song and the 10-song pack are one-time credit purchases with no subscription: 1 credit = 1 song export, so the single song gives you 1 credit and the pack gives you 10. Exporting the same song again, in another format or after an edit, does not use another credit. Pro is a subscription with unlimited exports, made for teachers and anyone who converts every week. As a rule of thumb, if you export more than about eight songs a month, Pro costs less than buying packs.

PDF to print or send, MusicXML to keep editing in MuseScore, Sibelius, Dorico or Finale, MIDI for a DAW, and Guitar Pro. Check the notation and the playback on screen first, because what you see is what gets exported.

No. TabToSheetMusic does not provide sheet music or tabs for any song, and there is no public library. It converts the tab or Guitar Pro file you bring, and you should only convert music you have the right to use.

Yes. Cancel from your billing settings whenever you like. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

A single song or a 10-song pack can be refunded within 14 days if none of its credits has been used. An annual Pro plan can be refunded within 14 days if you have exported no more than 10 songs. Credits already used for an export are not refunded, and an export that fails or produces a broken file is always put right. The Refund Policy has the full rules.
