Refund Policy

TabToSheetMusic refund and cancellation rules for export credits (single song and 10-song pack) and the Pro subscription.

Summary

  • Converting and previewing cost nothing, and your first export is free when you sign up, so you can check the result before you buy credits.
  • Credits you have not used? A single song (1 credit) or 10-song pack (10 credits) is refundable within 14 days of purchase if none of its credits has been used.
  • Credits already used for an export are not refunded.
  • Pro subscription? Cancel any time; it stops renewing at the end of the current period. Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days under the conditions below.
  • Export failed or the file is broken? Email us and we will fix it, restore the export, or refund it.

Before You Buy

Converting a tab and viewing the result on screen, including playback, does not require payment or an account. Please check the notation, and fix any durations measure by measure, before you export. A conversion whose rhythm you would have written differently is not a defect, because rhythm in a plain-text tab has to be estimated.

Credits: Single Song and 10-Song Pack

These are one-time purchases of credits. 1 credit = 1 song export, and exporting the same song again (in another format or after an edit) does not use another credit. A single song adds 1 credit; the 10-song pack adds 10.

  • You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as none of the credits from that purchase has been used.
  • Once a credit from a purchase has been used for an export, that purchase is not refundable. This also applies to the unused credits left in a partly used 10-song pack.
  • The free credit you receive when you sign up is not a purchase and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Pro Subscription

Monthly

  • You can cancel at any time from your account's billing settings.
  • Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and then it does not renew.
  • We do not give prorated or partial refunds for unused time in a billing period.

Annual

  • You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid year and then does not renew.
  • If you request it within 14 days of your first annual payment and have exported no more than 10 songs, you get a full refund.
  • After 14 days, or once you have exported more than 10 songs, the annual payment is not refundable.
  • Annual renewals can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal date if you have not exported any songs since the renewal.

Failed or Broken Exports

If an export fails, produces a file that will not open, or is clearly corrupted, email us with the file name and the format. We will fix the problem and return the credit, or refund the purchase it came from, even if the 14 days have passed.

Duplicate or Unauthorized Charges

If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or see a charge you did not authorize, email support@tabtosheetmusic.com with the date and amount. We will investigate and refund any duplicate or unauthorized charge.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email support@tabtosheetmusic.com from the email address on your TabToSheetMusic account, with the subject "Refund Request".
  2. Include the date of purchase, what you bought, and, if you have it, the Stripe receipt number.
  3. We reply within 5 business days.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, it can take 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear. When a purchase is refunded, its remaining credits are removed from your account.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank; most issues are resolved faster by email. Accounts with an open chargeback may be suspended while it is reviewed.

This policy does not limit any refund or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the new version is posted on this page.
